Last year wrapped up with a significant uptick in meals served, fueled by a lot of cold and wet weather. Groups served 2,710 first time meals in November (up more than 600 from 2021) and 2,743 meals in December. Overall, we served 28,093 meals in 2022, an increase of 5,000 from 2021. Last year represented one of the highest totals in People’s Kitchen history, and we are immensely grateful for your help meeting this increased demand. Even with flooding in early January, our groups pulled through to serve every day as planned — what a determined community we have!
